Kaylynn Williford serves as the head of the Trial Bureau and has been with the Harris County District Attorney's Office since 1992. In her 27 years with the DA's office, she has tried over 100 jury trials and served as the Division Chief of Major Offenders. Williford also served as Division Chief of the Asset Forfeiture Division as well as Division Chief of the Financial Crimes Division.
Williford started her legal career in the Travis County District Attorney's Office and then went to practice law for two years at Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams and Martin.
She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and her J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law.
