Professional Development Bureau Donna Goode, Professional Development Bureau Chief The Professional Development Bureau Chief oversees the continuing education of our lawyers and supervises the Misdemeanor Division. Misdemeanor Divsion  Marc Brown, Misdemeanor Division Chief There are fifteen County Criminal Courts at Law that hear class A and B misdemeanors. Last year over 56,000 cases were filed in these courts. In addition, the Misdemeanor Division staffs the criminal dockets for the county’s sixteen Justice of the Peace courts.
